Comment

[edit]

IT would be nice if someone was able to put up those pictures of Mars and Jupiter taken by Mars Observer before it blew up.Ericl 18:49, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where is it now?

[edit]

So, after communication was lost, did it crash into the surface, or flyby, or what? Abductive (reasoning) 16:05, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Conspiracy Theories

[edit]

Would it be worth to include alternative theories for Mars Observers' unfortunate demise? Apparently there are theories that M.O. was deliberately crashed/went black.Buftimaniadrizoly (talk) 14:28, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think not. WP:FRINGE cautions that "A Wikipedia article should not make a fringe theory appear more notable or more widely accepted than it is". Any conspiracy theory surrounding the MO demise has got to be seriously fringe and we shouldn't help it unless it gains a decent degree of traction. Anyway, we all know it was the Great Galactic Ghoul what done it, so what more is there to be said? Andyjsmith (talk) 16:04, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
