Look, I'm not a wikipedia editor. I don't know how to do anything on this website. But this article is nonsense garbage. It's constantly used by racist 4chan boys to make racist claims and it's not even an accurate article. If you are a wikipedia editor who knows how to actually change shit on this website please dig into this. Please. The article should probably be deleted, but since there exists a few peer-reviewed articles of bad "anthropological" research on these people it subsists. Somebody please fix this dumpster fire. I do not belive "Mekan" is now used as a label by anybody who has worked in Ethiopia. A label using "Me'en" is now standard. The writings of Jon Abbink and Hans-Georg Will are clear on this. Also, their territory does not extend into Sudan. Pete unseth (talk) 20:33, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
