Rayment refers to a summons as Baron de la Pole in 1366. Should that not be mentioned, but I thought I saw reference to s summons for his father Sir William. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:30, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mother

[edit]

Previously the webpage stated "Michael's mother was Katherine de Norwich, a daughter of Sir Walter de Norwich." which is incorrect. Katherine de Breus aka Norwich entered the nunnery at Derteford in 1378 and her next heir was found to be her cousin Sir William Ufford the Earl of Suffolk. That is she died without heirs of her body, so she could not have been Michael de la Pole's mother.
