My 5th great-grandfather, John Martin, settled around Midway about 1755. He came from County Antrim, Ireland. His two sons John & James Patrick joined the Revolution in 1775. They later were given bounty land in Washington County, GA, near Saundersville.

Clean Up

Large portions of the article was identical to the town web page. I tired to clean it up a little to a more WP:NPOV. Wkharrisjr (talk) 20:18, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
