Article sourcing

[edit]

Discussion moved from Teahouse. Pinging ChrisMat2020. I see that the article was rejected. I don't speak French or Tunisian, but a quick scan of the sources show many to be simple fan generated content like IMDB or social media. You don't want these sources to clutter the article, because it makes the better ones harder to find. My recommendation is that you remove anything that isn't an independent third party media source. There are also some that are just a few short lines about him, suggesting they are just passing mentions, and not in-depth profiles. Here's an example: [[1]]. That certainly sources the film, but doesn't make him look like a big part of it. It's always a good exercise if you show reviewers the three best sources to consider. This one seems OK [[2]] - although it's mostly an interview. I don't know how important the publication is - that also helps. Lastly, I'd avoid including trivia, like how he accepted his parent's divorce. That's more appropriate for a fan magazine, but not in an encyclopedia. Good luck!
