It might be of interest to Wikipedia readers that Mr Kipling's cakes were the subject of a song by Scottish anarcho-punk band Oi Polloi, entitled "Death Dealer." I am an American, and had been wondering what the song was about, since the brand is never found in the US. However, many Americans who listen to punk know who Oi Polloi is and may have heard the song. I Googled the lyrics and did several searches until I figured out what it referred to (the second line is "exceendingly good cakes," which helped). If the article isn't deleted, I think that noting the song would be a good addition to the article. Anyone else's thoughts? Catbot79 (talk) 04:03, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unneeded Section

[edit]

Who decided that a whole section of this article should be dedicated to writing about French Fancies, I don't see it as relevant 46.226.188.55 (talk) 23:26, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removed - A product list of somesort would be fine but like yourself I don't really see much point in there being a whole section dedicated to one cake. –Davey2010Talk 23:45, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Design information

[edit]

The article states"In the early 2000s, the Mr Kipling brand moved away from its familiar design" and goes on to describe several changes, but never tells us what the "familiar design" might have been. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.69.129.2 (talk) 03:17, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
