Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Jeffreynolte (talk) 16:49, 26 December 2016 (UTC) This page should not be deleted because it depicts a complete and accurate list of Nate Fish's accomplishments in baseball and art that easily meet the standards of notoriety of wikipedia and includes links to quality sources. My question is, why would it be deleted???[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Jeffreynolte (talk) 16:53, 26 December 2016 (UTC) Again, this page should not be deleted and is no way identical to previous articles with the same title as it includes much more information and links to sources.[reply]

Wizardman can you please compare this version with the one you deleted in this AfD (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nate Fish) and if it passes WP:GNG and WP:BASE/N. Thank you in advance – GSS (talk) 17:41, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
For what it's worth, I think the deleted version is superior to this one, easily (so jeff above is correct that this is different). At least that one satisfied NPOV. That being said, now that Israel is in the WBC, his status as a coach for the team might make him pass WP:BASE/N now. If you agree I'm ok restoring the original version and putting it over this one. Wizardman GSS-1987 - Now that it survived the AfD I have spent a lot of time cleaning it up and fixing up the issues. There is definitely a lot of holes stil. For example the lead says he won 3 Maccabiah Games medals, but article only had 2005 as a player and 2013 as a coach. I think now the article clearly shows that he meets WP:GNG and WP:BASE/N. If there is anything in the old article that this one didn't have though perhaps it should be added back. Before I create an info box or any of that stuff, if it can be saved from the old version that would be preferred, otherwise I will create. - GalatzTalk 15:48, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That's a BS close, so I'm no longer touching this article. Not worth my time. Wizardman 16:13, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
