Murder case involving highest admin

[edit]

On April 22, 2009 the leading administrator and spokesperson for the Bokmål Wikipedia was arrested having turned himself in to the police for having murdered his own mother.[1] Although no commentary may exist on how this may have impacted the work of that Wikipedia or public perception thereof, I am inclined to assert that this fact should still be mentioned in this article. If the leading figure of any other organization which has a Wikipedia article was the subject of a similar scandal, I believe that organization's article would at least mention the fact. __meco (talk) 08:32, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot I had brought this up here at the time, so I went ahead and added a brief mention about it into the article, however, this was promptly removed by another user[2] citing "While interesting in some respects, this is trivial to this article.." I think it still should at least be mentioned in the modest fashion that I attempted. __meco (talk) 00:01, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
