Capitalization[edit]

The capitalization - Obie, OBIE - is not uniform throughout the article. "Obie" seems to be standard. It should definitely be standardized, but does anyone have a case for it being "OBIE"? 66.251.26.175 22:17, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What does it even mean? Is it an acronym of some kind? Presumably the first two letters stand for "Off Broadway". What about IE? Surely this should be in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.97.225.239 (talk) 11:39, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

this is a very important award in American theatre. HesioneHushabye (talk) 09:27, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Winners list[edit]

This is an endemic problem across numerous NY Theater awards pages - OCC, Obies, NYIT, etc. Do we only care about the Tonys?

Someone needs to create a separate page for award winners going back to the beginning. I thought the Obies were an important award and litearlly we haven’t even filled in the 2023 winners. Mistamystery (talk) 14:22, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
