California locations

[edit]

Can anyone confirm the Pasadena location? I lived in the area until late 1986, and there was no Ohrbach's on Lake Avenue at that time. Since the company went under in 1987, a Pasadena branch if it existed couldn't have lasted long. I suspect an error. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Whyaduck (talkcontribs) 17:08, 23 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Downtown Los Angeles location

[edit]

The 1905-built 5th Street Store building was demolished sometime after this photo was takenin 1920. The Milliron's which became Ohrbach's was in this later building. Here's a ca.1940 picture of the Broadway side of the building. I've been unable to find a picture of it as Ohrbach's, or a construction date. Whyaduck 14:56, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
