fixes
[edit]These nightly "fixes" are getting a little annoying. Some things can be gotten from context - I find it doubtful that any of Cromwell's old soldiers went on to go out West and fight the Nez Perce. Hephaestos 05:07 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)
and you americans complain about terrorists when your own people executed terrorism on a larger scale and killed more women and children! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.31.3.195 (talk) 16:49, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Cochise
[edit]Why is there no mention of Howard and Tom Jeffords' dealings and 1872 treaty with Cochise? — TAnthonyTalk 18:34, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

3rd cousin to Frances Perkins
[edit]I am not a wikipedia contributor, but I thought this info might be an addition to this page on Oliver Otis Howard. Apparently he was a first cousin to Frances Perkins' grandmother, thus making him a third cousin to Frances herself. Elisabeth L. Oliver Otis Howard
[edit]Oliver Otis Howard did not suffer a defeat at Gettysburg. His decision making on July 1, 1863, was critical to the Union victory. And this article's summary of the Nez Perce War is irresponsible. 2601:982:8300:FC0:B9A1:F1BA:24D2:8333 (talk) 20:42, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
