Oxide

OK, the obvious question: Why is one of the Pang brothers named after 'a chemical compound that contains at least one oxygen atom'? 71.139.160.140 (talk) 06:32, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

He chose it as a nickname so it would stick in people's minds ( movies.radiofree.com/interviews/themesse_oxide_pang.shtml);

also worked as a lab assistant (asianwiki.com/Oxide_Pang_Chun), I guess making the oddly nerdy choice not unreasonable. JohndanR (talk) 05:15, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

So their real names are Pang Phat and Pang Chun? Makes sense, lots of Chinese people pick an English name to use when interacting with English speakers, or cinema-goers. I suppose his mum still calls him "Chun". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.197.121.3 (talk) 23:20, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
