Redirect

[edit]

Should pdfLaTeX redirect to pdfTeX given that LaTeX is a wrapper for the TeX prgramming language? I think there should be a separate article about pdfLaTeX related to LaTeX

No, it should redirect to LaTeX and LaTeX should explain that pdflatex is just a different way of calling LaTeX which then produces PDF directly. Oneiros 19:11, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"originally written by..."

If the sentence is referring to TeX, shouldn't this be Donald Knuth? That's how I interpreted the sentence, anyway. 69.158.185.166 04:35, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It refers to pdfTeX, which is a variant of TeX.--Oneiros 09:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
