Duke of Portland not listed?[edit]

Is there any reason why the Duke of Portland (1716) is not listed? --80.1.241.104 22:03, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)

The last Duke of Portland died in 1990, and the title is extinct. Some of his lesser titles were inherited by a distant relative, who is now the Earl of Portland. Proteus 23:31, 23 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Where are extinct peerages being listed then? I just ran across the new article Viscount Sackville which also isn't listed here. The introduction to this page seems to say that it should include all peerages created between that set of years mentioned. Rmhermen 13:57, Jul 3, 2004 (UTC)
List of Dukedoms, List of Marquessates, List of Earldoms, List of Viscountcies and List of Baronies list both extinct and extant titles. (The lower grades probably aren't entirely complete, mainly because there have been more of them.) Proteus (Talk) 20:51, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Then this page (and the related ones should clearly state that extinct titles are not on the list. As it is it starts by saying the "the peerage of Great Britain includes all titles..." which may be true but is not what the list contains. Rmhermen 00:26, Jul 4, 2004 (UTC)

Localization[edit]

Is it possible to further edit this list to designate where the title is origionated? For instance, the Barony of Aberganvenny is in Wales yes? so can we have a distintion between those of England and those in Wales? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Drachenfyre (talkcontribs) 08:01, 5 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

This needs divided up into each unique country. In Alphabetical order as it's english biased at the moment.
