Last Race[edit]

In the info box it says Hill's last race was the 1966 Italian Grand Prix. But in fact Hill did not qualify for that race, hence shouldn't the 1964 Mexican Grand Prix be listed as his last race? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.94.159.240 (talk) 00:16, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For the purposes of the infobox and some other stats, "last race" means "last event", i.e. the last Formula One event that a driver participated in. So even if he only took part in practice or qualifying, it counts as his last event. It's slightly misleading, but we use the same policy for all F1 drivers, for consistency. Worth mentioning?[edit]

Phil Hill never drove in any of the AAA open-wheel series? Which is probably unusual for American born driver?DoctorHver (talk) 20:46, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
