Note

[edit]

A note is needed to distinguish from Ramon Berenguer IV, Count of Provence, his grand-son.--Friviere 10:26, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dates?

[edit]

Children Dulce and Pedro were both born 1152? ----Michael K. Smith 19:17, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Why is the name writen with an acute: Ramón? The count's name should not have an acute as in Catalan it does not have any (no word end in -on can have an acute on the o). In Spanish it does, though but he and his language was Catalan.--Nauki 11:30, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling

[edit]

Is "Berengar" really a traditional English spelling of the original "Berenguer" or rather a typo instead? I mention because I have seen his name quoted as "Berengar" in Crown of Aragon and, indeed, Berengar works as a redirect. Infobox picture

[edit]

The caption/description of the infobox image seems to refer to "Raymond Berenguer III", whereas the filename, not to mention the article name, seems to refer to "Ramon Berenguer IV". Maybe a mistake? EZStrathHuston (talk) 11:43, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch, EZStrathHuston. I've removed it. Surtsicna (talk) 19:28, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
