@Footy2000: This is in regards to your revert of my edit in which I had corrected the number of cities with metro in India, actually there are 15 cities with operational metro 1)Ahmedabad, 2)Chennai, 3)Delhi, 4)Hyderabad, 5)Jaipur, 6)Kanpur, 7)Kochi, 8)Kolkata, 9)Lucknow, 10)Mumbai, 11)Nagpur, 12)Bengaluru, 13)Noida, 14)Pune, 15)Gurugram.Joy goel (talk) 18:56, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are fifteen metro systems currently operational in India, but the ridership statistics is based on the 2021 data where India had thirteen systems. Footy2000 (talk) 10:24, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New Metros - Coimbatore

[edit]

The table in Systems in Development shows Coimbatore metro has 147 kms under construction, but I don't think construction has started. If it has, the color has to be changed. Edit: Removed the 147 km in u/c column for Coimbatore.

Ukmrc is not there why ?

[edit]

Ukmrc is also there but why you didn't show that ? 223.233.71.253 (talk) 15:39, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chennai Metro U/C and Planned details are wrong in the table

[edit]

The giver citation does not support the U/C length given in the table (143.90 km) or the planned length (128 km).

The Metrorail guy citation says U/C is 84 km and proposed is 15 km.

We should update these details in the table. Sadbarrett (talk) 18:36, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New Metros - Navi Mumbai

[edit]

The first line in Navi Mumbai just opened a week or so ago (January 19th, 2023, putting the # of operational metro systems at 16). Could someone with more experience in editing tables put that one in as well?

It is not yet operational. Footy2000 (talk) 18:31, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

List of lines table

[edit]

I propose that we should remove the "List of Lines" table, as there is no need for such a table. For the nth time (talk) 21:47, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing "locale" and "state" with "Metro Area"

[edit]

both of these categories are redundant. Replacing them with "metro area" would combine the two. SKAG123 (talk) 22:56, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
