[edit]Dates and details issues
[edit]Adding a note here because there is some conflicting information on the dates and details about this company in published sources. Please use the talk page to discuss changes, if there is an existing RS citation. The New York Motion Picture Company had various brands (like Reliance Film Co.) and they were often sold/traded with other production companies and it was done under various corporate names, This could explain the conflicts.
Harry Aitken and/or the Triangle Film Corporation did purchase/absorb the Reliance Film Company (unclear when, or details but it is mentioned in many sources with some conflict). I saw some sources stating that (prior to purchase) the Reliance Film Company was working with three other film corporations to outsource work, including Aitken's Triangle Film Corporation.
