Evaluation[edit]

This article currently briefly touches on the use of repetition to differentiate between genres, the aesthetic and political meaning of repetition, and different kinds of repetition.

However, it currently is probably too brief to provide context for unfamiliar readers. Hyacinth (talk) 21:33, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Repetitive music be merged into Repetition (music). Both are relatively short articles discussing largely the same concepts. "Repetitive music" isn't a distinct genre of music, so there's no reason to have a separate page for it. Everything in that article would fit easily into this one. —Torc. Makes sense to me. An article on musical repetition with no mention of Minimalism strikes me as odd and incomplete. A merger will help flesh out both articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.249 (talk) 20:19, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Support This article is a mess and provides little evidence that this can be considered a style of music.--MASHAUNIX 00:12, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
