Pumping Efficiency

[edit]

Description of the degree to which the heart's mechanical pumping efficiency is reduced may be worth inclusion. 79.76.253.83 (talk) 04:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Epidemiology source? Is reason for age-increase known?

[edit]

Is there a citation for the epidemiology, and is there a known reason for why it increases with age? (possibilities I can think of - "general deterioration" of the electrical system nerves, relation to arterial plaque, changes in how the nerves *work* in terms of age-related ion-channel changes) Jimw338 (talk) 22:35, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
