Rockhampton "International" Airport[edit]

In recent days the name has twiced been changed to "Rockhampton International Airport" without any citations for this change.[1][2] I've searched but can't find anything that verifies this name change. According to Rockhampton City Council it's still called "Rockhampton Airport" so I've reverted the name accordingly. If anyone wishes to change the name they should provide a citation in accordance with Wikipedia's verifiability policy when doing so. --AussieLegend (talk) 12:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alliance not operated for Virgin[edit]

"Virgin Australia operated by Alliance Airlines" Not sure if that is correct, I fly between Rockhampton and Brisbane on a near daily basis, the Alliance flight is (everytime I've flown it) operated on behalf of Qantas — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.118.14.41 (talk) 12:42, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Accidents and incidents[edit]

I've cleaned up this section to better align with WP:AIRCRASH, WP:MILL, WP:NOT and general notability. There were a bunch of routine emergency landings mentioned and a few incidents that only resulted in minor damage to aircraft, no loss of life and had no lasting implications. I've merged a few of the more interesting ones into the history section as they still fit into the broader narrative about the airport. Dfadden (talk) 01:35, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
