Still needs picture; couldn't find his birthday; but he's a BLP; if any Texas Law people are reading this, please upload a picture of SL to Wikimedia Commons; and list the filename here; and another Wikipedian will try to include it in the article.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 13:26, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"who has argued that the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution limits the government's authority to regulate private gun ownership", gee, you think professor? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.105.184.93 (talk) 00:22, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This seems a puff piece written someone interested in doing PR for him. It lists him with leading liberal jurisprudential thinkers of much higher reputation; a citation of him is used, out of context, to indicate his supposed importance; it has more the feel of a cv for higher position than even of a remotely objective article. He's someone of at least minor significance and those interested in him and his views deserve a more thorough piece. Broadman (talk) 18:33, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Broadman[reply]

Disagree. Levinson is a highly respected professor in an important topic -- constitutional law -- who has challenged the most important legal document in the US -- the US Constitution. Tocqueville in his Democracy in America noted how prominent lawyers were well suited within the body politic to causing substantive change. Levinson, accordingly, is highly notable. If there are specific lines or wordings which you have issues with, please specify them.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 22:29, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
