This page continues to be subjected to vandalism. A particular user is removing factual information consitently. I know Shirrel Rhoades personally and I can verify and provide references for every factual statement in this article. The vandal also removed all of the reference links, further demonstrating their ill intent. There is no justifaction for removing statements of fact from this article, except what appears to be a personal agenda against Shirrel. SkyCaptain (talk) 17:39, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Written by the subject or his publicist

This posting is unrelated to the above. I looked on the history page to try to discern who the vandal is, but offhand I couldn't see any repeated vandal edits.

In any event: This article is written like a resume. Judging from the tone and style of the edits by 66.229.43.194] and SkyCaptain, it appears to violate Coflict of Interest guidelines, since SkyCaptain says in his post above that he is personally acquainted with the subject (if he is not in fact the subject or his publicist). This is reason enough, per COI, that he should not be making extensive edits to this article. Both these editors are virtually single-subject editors, with dozens of edits to this one article only. Source of SkyCaptain Edits

I am neither Shirrel nor his publicist, but I am working from materials he provided. My goal is to create an accurate biographical entry. When I started, there was no entry for Shirrel at all, thus numerous edits. I will continue to work with Shirrel to find citations for the factual material that's being contested.
