Gangsan Mountain

The criticism section mentions "Gangsan Mountain." I looked this up and it seems to be the Korean word for "mountains", "mountains and rivers", or "landscape." There does not seem to be a specific Gangsan Mountain. PopSci (talk) 15:48, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

simple footnote error

I'm not good enough with HTML to fix this so I'll just inform you for whoever is qualified. There's a footnote (#15 currently) that says
Urquhart, Conal (2 September 2013). "Sun Myung Moon, founder of the Moonies, dies in South Korea"
but the correct date is 3 Sep 2012. Wow, a dyslexic Wikipedian strikes.

Hello? Can anyone see or hear this?? The footnote has a date of September 2013, and a retrieval date of June 2013, for an event of September 2012. Can no one see that there is "something wrong with this picture"? Was that not clear? Hello? Rev. Moon's Birthdate

Because of revisions, currently Rev. Moon's birthdate is shown as a lunar-calendar date while the date of his death is shown by the solar calendar. This article originally showed his correct solar-calendar birthdate of February 25, 1920. The lunar-calendar January 6 always falls between late January and late February on the solar calendar. In 1920, the lunar New Year fell on 2/20/20 by the solar calendar. Five days later is January 6 by the lunar calendar and, naturally, February 25 by the solar. Someone in charge should decide if this article wants to be consistent about Rev. Moon's vital dates and show them both as solar dates or lunar ones, which would probably put the date of his death in late July or early August. Smallfixer (talk) 20:27, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

1. WP:BOLD (you're in charge!), 2. the Western Calendar (or Gregorian) doesn't have any lunar dates, therefore January 6 cannot be correct, although a Korean counterpart might have such lunar dates. Go for February 25, 1920! Rursus dixit. (^mbork³!) 14:34, 9 July 2019 (UTC)

mention of Joe Biden

The controversy section talks about a relationship between Moon's family and Biden's. This is sourced to one magazine article. Is this enough to make this statement? Considering WP's living persons policies, and also the fact that Biden is running for president right now. SpecInterest (talk) 21:29, 3 May 2020 (UTC)

That seems to have been one of the major points of the source. On the other hand it was only one article, probably written in a few days. Not really a scholarly source.PopSci (talk) 12:47, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
