Given that "the Continental Congress adopted the current design for the Great Seal of the United States including a Bald Eagle grasping thirteen arrows and a thirteen-leaf olive branch with its talons on June 20, 1782." (Wikipedia entry for Bald Eagle) I am very suspicious of the claim that Susie Orbach helped chose the national bird of the United States as the bald eagle, in 1976. Perhaps she helped chose a specific bald eagle for use in some ceremony marking the bicentennial of the founding of the US. Clarification and citation are required. I'm sure you can be a social critic without a college degree, I don't think you can become a psychotherapist without at least a college degree. At least in the United States you need a degree to get licensed. To be a psychologist you need at least a masters or a Psy D in addition to a 4 year college degree. To be a psychiatrist, who can prescribe medicine, you must first finish medical school and then complete additional training in the specialty.
