Valid link?[edit]

Could you pls explain how http://www.sylt-az.de/ is a valid external link? From the "About" page it is obviously a private site which advocates tourism on Sylt and that it is very likely a WP:SPS. The "About" page also says that it has not been updated since 2001...it is not clear whether that refers to all the information on the whole site or just that one page. However, Wikipedia is not a travel guide and should not serve as a booking portal for trips to Sylt. So that link might be appropriate on Wikitravel but not here. just took it out. placed a link to wikivoyage instead. --AltSylt (talk) 19:54, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Geography section[edit]

The geography section is huge. I find it quite demanding to read through it, and in comparison all the other look weeny. Don't know..., one thing could be to break it up into paragraphs for the nature reserves (Rantum, List, etc.), or for the different geogr. areas (east coast, west coast, etc.)? --AltSylt (talk) 19:44, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not an Island[edit]

Sylt isn't an Island and hasn't been for a long time, I don't know why Wikipedia still lists it as such, considering it's literally wrong. It's a Peninsula. Artificial, yes but it still is one. Someone really needs to change this. --JonahF (talk) 13:46, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
