"First and foremost

[edit]

A recent edit argues "he was known first and foremost as a ufologist". The edit is fine, but for posterity, Bloecher's musical theater career and his role in the NYC gay art scene are even more prominent than his research into UFO reports. Feoffer (talk) 01:47, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's simply not true. Do a search on Google Books. --Jkaharper (talk) 09:34, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Books are biased toward the work he did in print; Do a newspaper search and you get a very different result. I only made my comment because I saw an article on him was deleted way back in 2010, likely because that article completely missed his notability in musical theater and LGBT culture. (plus, BLP -- he's no longer living now) Feoffer (talk) 09:47, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
