Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Ted Moores' impact on the boat building community is demonstrably large. Although canoe building is a niche pastime, few figures within the field have as significant a reputation and as extensive a history as Moores. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msnell11 (talkcontribs) 17:57, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please demonstrate how this meets the criteria in WP:BIO. reddogsix (talk) 19:11, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. According to none other than Die Welt, "Kanadier Ted Moores, der mit dem Buch „Canoecraft“ eine Art Bibel für Kanubauer geschrieben hat". So he passes WP:AUTHOR. Thanks and regards, Biwom (talk) 14:00, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
