"Typical for the lyrics is a close connection to the literary genre American Gothic", yeah but the internal link that leads to the article "American Gothic" mentions absolutely NOTHING about the literary genre. Somebody needs to flesh out the other article to include the literary genre or start a whole new page for "American Gothic (literary genre) as opposed to "American Gothic (painting)".

I'm not sure of the rights and wrongs of the speedy deletion of this article as a copyvio but I have rewritten it from scratch. Apparently the old article was 'blatant copyright violation', though there's no indication in the deletion log of the source (which is always useful to record as it can point to a useful source if nothing else). I came here and found that it had been deleted. If someone had come along and cut and pasted text into the article from elsewhere, I suspect that the article could have just been reverted to an earlier version, but maybe not.
