Samrat Chakrabarti

I think Samrat definitely needs his own article. He even has his own IMDB page. Crazy.--Htmlism 20:08, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Group Shot

[edit]

Need permission for http://www.hyannissound.com/img/group.jpg, perfectly acceptable shot of the current line-up.

It's not acceptable if it's from the subject's own site. Then again, most of this article isn't acceptable by Wikipedia standards. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 04:12, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

notability?

[edit]

Wow, this page is awful. The Sound has been cited by multiple press sources and even mentioned by name on a major political commentary show, and yet the only reference is the Sound's own web page? And is anyone on the list of alumni notable for Wikipedia's purposes, other than Samrat (movies & music), Dave Goryl (movies & TV) and perhaps Townsend (from his namecheck in Pitch Perfect) and Rob Powers (from his appearance on TV news), that would justify such a comprehensive list? This page is so obviously self-written, it hurts to read it. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 13:28, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! To any and all interested: I've proposed a WikiProject dedicated to a cappella. This would be a group of editors interested in improving the quality of articles related to a cappella. If you're passionate about a cappella—ranging from the Pentatonix to groups like the Sound, or perhaps pop culture representations like Pitch Perfect and The Sing-Off—please check out the proposal and share your thoughts!

Here's a link to the proposal for WikiProject A Cappella.

If you could see yourself contributing to an article related to a cappella (like this one), please consider joining!
