[edit]I moved this here from the article:
Could someone verify that my ancestor, Sir Thomas Warner, did in fact introduce slavery? He died in 1649, and I read in answers.com that slaves in the Caribbean were first introduced in Nevis in 1649? What is the truth please? Mark Ashton Warner, markruthwarner@yahoo,co.uk

I created this article to separate it from the article Sir Thomas Warner, 1st Baronet. The two pages had become confused. Woodym555 14:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
