Are there any concrete evidence that the Japanese word Donburi for bowls comes from Thonburi's exports of ceramicware and Celadon? --Bobbagum 07:43, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Districts that represented Thonburi Province
[edit]Of the present administration of Bangkok "Metropolis" or Province, which districts or khet represented the now-defunct province of Thonburi before merging with the province of Phra Nakhon? jlog3000 (talk) 17:40, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- All those districts west of the Chao Phraya, except of course those which were not yet created at the time the two provinces were merged. I have corrected the administration section accordingly, as it showed the subdistricts of Thonburi district, the former Mueang district of Thonburi province. andy (talk) 17:48, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
