merger[edit]

should be merged with Tupi. — ishwar  (SPEAK) 12:00, 2005 May 20 (UTC)

There is a Tupi language family which consists of approximately 70 languages, one of which is Tupi. The family and the individual language should have separate articles, I think. To be consistent with other articles, they should be located at Tupi languages and Tupi language, respectively. --Tabor 19:13, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

ok. i saw that one, too. merged. the categories could be improved as well. peace – ishwar  (speak) 17:46, 2005 August 9 (UTC)

Don't know if this helps, but as a 'worshipper' of the Tupi since the game Colonization, i found http://www.capixabismo.com.br/ and its Tupi dictionary very interesting. N.B. I am no way an authority on this subject.

Maweti-Guarani[edit]

I added a reference with evidence in favor of a Mawe-Aweti-Tupi-Guarani sub-branch and changed the list of sub-branches accordingly. 179.235.214.89 (talk) 16:09, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
