[edit]I think this paragraph:
" EDIT: 12 AF Hqs was located in downtown Waco and was in NO way either adjacent to, nor associated with, James Connally AFB. Connally AFB was an ATC base dedicated to Navigator Training. 12th AF Hqs was located in a converted Catholic school off of Waco Dr. in downtown Waco. Any reference to any association with JCAFB is erroneous. SOURCE: personal experience. MY father was in the Inspector General's office of 12th for four years fro 1958-1962."
is not proper, and should be removed, or at least rewritten. --Filippof (talk) 11:49, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
(I have hided out the paragraph, by HTML "comment" tag.)
Propose Rename to: Twelfth Air Force (Air Forces Southern)

- Oppose - This article is correctly titled per WP:COMMONNAME. Wikipedia prefers to use common names over official names, especially if the official name is that much longer. - BilCat (talk) 23:43, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
Notable Commanders
[edit]Recommend adding Gen Tod D. Wolters, current SACEUR and EUCOM Commander, to the list of notable commanders. Full disclosure -- I do have a conflict of interest in that I work for EUCOM, but offer this suggestion for your consideration. 84.133.44.103 (talk) 13:11, 28 June 2022 (UTC) William Speaks
