Revision[edit]

Thomas was one of the more famous and long serving of the Army Transport Service ships. The original article did not reflect that notable service and also contained bits of misinformation. For example the "flag on Wake Island" was a conclusion from an unrelated mention in Kinghorn's history as Thomas was not yet assigned to the Pacific and Philippine service.
