Marienkirche

The article says Wismar's Marienkirche "was deliberately destroyed in 1960 under the East German Communist government."

It's difficult to imagine a church being accidentally destroyed by a government, though, isn't it?

Market place

in the article is said that wismar was heavily destroyed in 2.WW. thats not right the historic city of wismar was only 15% destroyed and only st. mary and st. george were heavily destroyed. greetings from wismar

Alter Schwede

Quite odd that the interesting photo of the Gothic Alter Schwede house isn't labeled as such. And why is it called the "old Swede" house? Sca (talk) 16:35, 14 June 2014 (UTC)

Wismar was occupied by Sweden for ages, as was this building. Since 1878 it houses a restaurant, I guess it was back then when the name popped up first. Why don't you label it yourself? Frankly I don't know how to add a label to this specific infobox. -- Horst-schlaemma (talk) 10:37, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
