I propose this for various reasons:

  • Neither article is particularly long
  • Labrot & Graham (LG) article is currently about the distillery, which has been called various names, and now is officially renamed Woodford Reserve Distillery.
  • LG, if only about the distillery, should otherwise be renamed to include "Distillery" in the article title, unless the scope is expanded.

How is the landmark distillery building being used?

[edit]

When visiting Maker's Mark it was noted that it is the only National Historic Landmark distillery where historic buildings are actually being used for distilling. Is this still the case at Woodford Reserve? Are historic buildings only for show, or have they started putting them to work? I know that the other, Bomberger's Distillery, has been closed for many years. (Jack Daniel's is not an NHL, although it is on the Nat'l Register). — Eoghanacht talk 19:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Woodford Reserve clearly uses Landmark buildings in the distilling process. The Maker's Mark article has been edited to state, "It was the first distillery in America to be so recognized where landmark buildings were actively used for distilling." ArrJay (talk) 16:55, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I second the merger.

[edit]

I think the casual wiki user looking for information about Woodford Reserve isn't going to look for the LG page. They are both rather short on there own.

Neutrality

[edit]

There is no discussion about the neutrality of this article. Since it is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given, I am removing the tag.---- Work permit (talk) 01:10, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
