Is the Friar, New Hampshire disappearance real or just made for the film?

There have been a few fringe sites that have claimed that this exodus of a town is real and actually took place, no sources were provided for that claim and I just wanted to ensure that this disappearance was just made for the movie. Thank you.90.249.234.171 (talk) 09:48, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
