Postal abbreviations

[edit]

@Adavidb: What's the point of the recent edit for postal abbreviations? They're already there. —GoldRingChip 16:37, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@GoldRingChip: What is/was already there? While most U.S. users know that "LA" is for "Louisiana" and "OK" is for Oklahoma, the MOS says these abbreviations should be avoided, and suggests the abbr template be applied otherwise. It provides a popup expansion for the abbreviation. —ADavidB 19:47, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Adavidb: I see. Interesting. OK, thanks for replying. —GoldRingChip 01:25, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
