Fair use

Because fair use is determined on an article-by-article basis. Please read Wikipedia:Fair use. The only difference between promotional images and other non-free images is that we're less likely to be at the wrong end of a copyright infringement lawsuit over them. --Carnildo 08:08, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Tests with fair use images

Regarding the conversation above and the related talk on the project page, I have created some stub template tests with free images I created myself. They're not great, but they're a start, perhaps. User:Angmering/Stubtests. Angmering 19:02, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
