Clarification[edit]

This is a list of people who are given these categories in the Secret History of the Mongols, and is widely used in Mongolian historiography. Sorry I could not find a reliable source for it for now, though I think I'm personally pretty sure about this particular point. It may also be useful to think of it in another way: as a grandson of Genghis Khan, if Kublai Khan were indeed one of his "four dogs", there should be plenty references about it, but I have never found any traces of this when looking at any articles for Kublai Khan.
