Hexafluoroethane[edit]

Hexafluoroethane (C
2
F
6
) is binary, consisting of only C and F, and has 6 fluorine atoms. Hexafluorocyclopropane and hexafluoropropene also have 6 fluorines, but 3 carbons, and hexafluorobenzene has 6 carbons. Or is the template reserved to hexafluorides containing 1 non-F atom? Alfa-ketosav (talk) 18:44, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
