Stub image

[edit]

I've taken the liberty to revert to version that used the black and white image (I really liked that one, and I've used it on all the "children" of this template). I've looked around, but so far, I've been unable to find a good colour image that is also light on the servers. The images in Commons:Category:Crowns are generally photos and very server-heavy. Unfortunately, this includes the drawing of St. Edward's Crown, which would otherwise have been a good candidate. Stub images should (in the ideal world) be easily to recognise and very light on the servers. Just my two cents, but I will look out for a better colour image. Regards. A user at WP:VPT has informed us that the it is unnecessary to avoid using a particular image as a stub image due to concerns about its size. The load on the server is the same as on a light image. Valentinian (talk) 21:59, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
