Deletions

[edit]

I've deleted some stuff, per comments here. Swanny18 (talk) 20:43, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the Sgt. Pepper Live and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the Road as being unrelated to this album; they were restored without explanation. Sgt. Pepper Live is a cover album by a tribute band; Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the Road is a play with music mostly by the BeeGees. Please explain what connection these articles have to the album, apart from using the name. Swanny18 (talk) 22:10, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The connection first and foremost is that they would not exist without the original album. They use the music from the original album. The titles are based upon that of the original album. Not to mention that the concept of these subjects is largely based upon the concept of the original album.Hoops gza (talk) 23:51, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It also serves as a convenient way of showing some of the influence that the original album has.Hoops gza (talk) 23:52, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we could argue the point, but I can probably live with it...Swanny18 (talk) 20:35, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
