Tankara[edit]
Doesn't Deep Space 12: Tankara belong in here? Just because it got horrible reviews doesn't mean it's not a game.--24.171.0.229 (talk) 16:02, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
- I only added official, licensed Star Trek games to the template, this Tankara thing seems more like a fan-made mod. -- Sabre (talk) 19:48, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
starfleet command games[edit]
hi. sorry, i really do feel that the game Star Trek: Starfleet Command and its sequels belong under Star Trek simulators. it's not a major issue for me, but I do feel that way, as they each involve individual commands and actions. I'm open to other views and comments on that, of course. thanks. --Steve, Sm8900 (talk) 20:37, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- The qualification of whether its a strategy game or a simulation game shouldn't be determined by us, but rather by reliable secondary sources and primary sources. The media tend to refer to it as a strategy game, see [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]. These are fairly distinct from what is usually prescribed as a space simulation game, such as the likes of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Star Wars: X-Wing or Freespace. -- Sabre (talk) 22:50, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
