Space systems[edit]

  • None of the "Space Systems" listed are actually weapons. Why have they been included in this template? --GW 06:33, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Air Force considers them weapons systems in the same manner they consider the AOC and trainer aircraft weapons systems.--Ndunruh (talk) 13:45, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This template should be renamed USAF equipment. --108.38.59.50 (talk) 23:59, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, uniforms, which are included, aren't weapons. (Hohum @) 20:07, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Template moved. No oppose votes, and it is a legitimate move: template covers more than just weaponry. (non-admin closure)  — Amakuru (talk) 22:04, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Template:USAF weaponsTemplate:USAF equipment(No rationale provided.) --Relisted. Steel1943 (talk) 00:31, 17 November 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.51.29.188 (talk) 23:52, 14 November 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy procedural close: No rationale provided and no supporting comments made after waiting for three days.BarrelProof (talk) 21:19, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Follow-up comment: It does appear that the template includes various items of non-weaponry equipment, so the suggestion seems worth considering. —BarrelProof (talk) 21:29, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support move to a more accurate title - especially as there is equipment that is not necessarily a weapons system such as Launch Vehicles, Targets, and Uniforms. - WPGA2345 - 23:23, 19 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Patrol planes & weaponry?[edit]

Is there a reason for mthe template missing patrol planes like the Poseidon & Orion, and the weaponry for such, eg torpedoes, depth bombs? Macktheknifeau (talk) 13:24, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because those are navy and not Air Force Garuda28 (talk) 16:31, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
