Grouping of items

[edit]

I wasn't sure of the best way to group items in the first two rows of the template. My preliminary stab is to group them under "Wind power" and "Wind turbines". The underlying category structure suggests most of the grouping. Many articles relating to wind power are in several categories, and some categorizations may need adjustment. --Teratornis (talk) 20:43, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox wind farm

[edit]

I think we could also use an Infobox wind farm. There is currently an {{Infobox power station}} which appears in a very few wind farm articles, but that infobox is a bit more general than would be best, since it lacks a few fields that would be useful for wind farms, such as some measure of the capacity factor, the start and completion dates, the specific counts of wind turbines and their sizes, the wind turbine vendor(s), etc. --Teratornis (talk) 20:43, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed removal of wind power by country

[edit]

Propose removing the "Wind power by country" section from this navbar as it duplicates Template:Wind power by country and Template:Renewable energy by country. There is an ongoing discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Energy#Wind power by country navbar 4x. --ELEKHHT 20:47, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
