Tew Jiath (born 2 March 2005)[1] is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League

Early life[edit]

Born in a refugee camp in Ethiopia to South Sudanese parents, Jaith along with his family moved to Australia in 2007 when Tew was just 2 years old. [2]

Club career[edit]

Jiath was drafted by Collingwood in the 2023 AFL draft.[3]

At under-19 Australian rules football level, Jiath played for the Gippsland Power.[4]

Personal Life[edit]

Jiath grew up supporting the Collingwood Football Club, Stating that his favorite player was Scott Pendlebury. [5]

He is also the younger brother of Changkuoth Jiath who currently plays for the Hawthorn Football Club.
