RfC comment

[edit]

Hello, since this is my first time making RfC and you are the only person that responded with a comment, may i ask you what happens if you are the only one that actually comments something? And how do these things usually end?

Who makes a decision on what to do in the end? Because some of the editors already refused whatever the result of RfC may be, citing WP:DEMOCRACY Setxkbmap (talk) 22:30, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Administrators on Wikipedia usually close RfCs (Requests for Comments) when they believe that there is a consensus. Make sure that the posted question is clear (A or B and such) and that you offer a rational solution and ofc. that you are presenting reliable sources. All beginnings are difficult. You can read more here. Best. — Sadko (words are wind) 07:15, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I assume i did a decent enough job.
There is a clear question in RfC (Should we state tribe origin is mixed) and i provided some of the simpler sources that address the claim directly.
They are covering up RfC with discussions and arguing, they are modifyng article during it, making changes and implementing their sources, while they told me that if i don't agree i should create another RfC. They are really making a circus out of this, but i hope it won't affect the judgement of others. Setxkbmap (talk) 07:28, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You did.
There is a limited in interest in such topic, which is often being (ab)used.
Call for admin. help if you doubt that there is deliberate spamming at work. — Sadko (words are wind) 07:50, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
