Comment: What you have given us is search engine result for pictures, which has a big lot of different pictures. You will ahve to point us at one particular picture. Also we need to have a license that is associated with the picture, on the same web site that you got it from, so we can see what it is. In this case it sounds like the pictures will not be freely usable to wikipedia, in which case it may be fair use. But you need to write a reason why it is fair use on what article. Author/Copyright Holder's Name: The picture was taken by a close friend of Michael Wilson and is being put on this website with the consent of the formerly named Michael Wlson.
Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: Michael Wilson because there are no pictures of him.
Comment: There needs to be one of the valid licenses to use this on wikipedia. Permission to have the picture on facebook, does not allow use on wikipedia. We need GFDL, public domain, or a small selection of creative commons licenses. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:04, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Kris, do you want the logo in the top left corner of the page? The license link has to be on the same website as the picture, so that we can confirm that the copyright owner has granted the permissions you claim. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:20, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: All of nabokov pcitures are All rights reserved. So unless the license is changed for this image, and you can point me to a URL for the license, we cannot use the picture on wikipedia. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 01:18, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: This is not a free use as per you may not modify, copy, publish, display, transmit, adapt or in any way exploit the content of the Web Site. This means that any use of the log is only a fair use. However there is no tweenparent article to attach the picture to, so where do you want it to to be used? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 00:03, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Thankyou for contribution your image. You have not linked to any license information. We need this to prove that the picture has the free license that you claim. This would normally be on the same web site as the image. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:02, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: The text under the picture says Gottlieb Development LLC owns copyright. If this is your picture, and you produced the game the image is from, you can change the copyright notice under the picture so that can can prove you own the permission to givi it to wikipedia or others under public domain? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:21, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: This image claims "all rights reserved" not "public domain" . If you are professor_frink, can you change the text on the attribution on the web site to say public domain? Other wise wikip[edia cannot use this image. Perhaps a message at http://www.panoramio.com/user/2406842 could prove the ownership and copyright. Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: Falcon Crest, because there is currently no images in the part of the article concerning the availability on DVD.
Comment: That image is most likely copyrighted. I'm not even sure this image would fall in line with our WP:NFC guidelines. Please read up on how we handle non-free images on wikipedia, and if you believe the image is justified, reply with a fair use rationale. Thanks for your consideration. If you have questions on how we use images, feel free to ask as well. Good luck.-Andrew c[talk]21:04, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The conditions say: You may not publish, distribute, extract, re-utilise, or reproduce any part of the Site or its contents in any form so this means the picture is not public domain. If this is your site and your picture, you can load it yourself at commons:upload or you can change the terms and conditions to say that the picture is public domain. Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload:Southland (TV series), there is currently no illustration in its article. Because it is an intertitle there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary. Since it is low resolution, it is well within the realm of the fair use rationale.
Comment: The license will have to be given on the flickr page. Can you point to the flickr page that shows who uploaded this picture, as I cannot find it, your zh page does not contain the license, instead it could be a place to use the image. Also if this is your own image you can upload it your self at commons:uploadGraeme Bartlett (talk) 21:37, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Flickr page is here. @Onlymyself65536 The image is marked as 'All Rights Reserved' and we generally can't upload copyrighted images. Regards, Matt(Talk)08:25, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It seems unlikely that a single cover will be PD, unless you are in fact the creator of the artwork. However this could be used under fair use provisions.
